I disliked the flavor it was very soft but the flavor was just off I didn’t see the hype about it
This is an interestingly different variation on the quick cooking carb theme from Asia.
The carbs are not provided as noodles, but as short, thick, somewhat chewy rice sticks, maybe 1.5"x0.4", a little like solid ziti.
The associated sauce is a powder, add it and a little water only to the rice cakes and zap for 2-3 minutes in the microwave. The end result is spicy, chewy rice sticks, as the sauce is absorbed by them.
It makes a decent meal, improved imho by adding a bit more spicy sauce, puttanesca for instance, to give a bit more generous sauce portions. Obviously veggies or some thin sliced meat would enhance things further.
CAUTION: the product comes with a desiccant packet in the rice stick package which is labeled as 'Not Food', but which could easily be mistaken for a pepper flake pack such as are found in many other oriental noodle offerings.
It would be better if this was fixed to the package inside, as the current approach is confusing. At least describe the desiccant pack as 'Drying Agent' or 'Preservative', to minimize future liability.
