thin noodles & tteokbokki w/ Jjajang sauce, easy to prepare, good flavor, product of South Korea
"These Yopokki Jjajang Rabokki Cups are a fun Korean convenience food, and I enjoyed them.
There are three components, separately sealed, in each cup. To prepare, you open the component packets/pouches. Each packet/pouch has a tear notch that works well; you don't need scissors. You then put the contents back in the cup (minus the ""keep fresh do not eat"" preservative packet in the Tteokbokki pouch), fill with water to the indicated line, then microwave it in the cup with the lid loosely on for 3 min 30 seconds. It's very quick and easy to prepare.
The components are:
(1) Jjajang sauce packet -- mixed with water, it produces a thin dark brown sauce that tastes sweet with some umami.
(2) Tteokbokki -- tubular chewy rice cakes
(2) ""ramen"" noodles -- These noodles are very thin and don't have much bite. They're fine, but I much prefer the tteokbokki.
The Jjajang sauce is thinner than average but the flavor and aroma are good. It's a product of South Korea."
